Terms of Service

Last updated: 30 August 2026

These terms cover your use of MigrationAudit, a product of Veristack, operated by SpiralWorld LLC. Installing or using the app means you agree to them. They are written to be read, not to be impressive.

1. What the service does

MigrationAudit runs a read-only audit of your Shopify store after a migration. It checks nine things — duplicate SKUs, URL redirects, store policies, navigation links, variant pricing, missing variant images, blog and content pages, metafield completeness, and image alt text — and reports what it finds, with links to Shopify’s own fix instructions.

The app never modifies your store. It requests read-only scopes only. It cannot create, edit, or delete products, content, or settings, and it does not try to. Any change to your store is one you make yourself.

2. No warranty — the findings are informational

The service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

We do not guarantee that the audit is complete, that it finds every problem with your store, or that everything it reports is a genuine problem. The checks use heuristics — they can miss things and they can flag things that turn out to be fine. A passing audit is not a certification that your migration was successful.

Findings are informational. You are responsible for reviewing them and for any change you choose to make to your store as a result. Verify before you act, and keep your own backups.

3. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the amount you actually paid for it — at most $49 USD for the store in question.

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost revenue, lost profits, lost sales, lost or corrupted data, or business interruption, even if we were told such damages were possible.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

4. Payment and refunds

The Free plan includes one scan with a summary of findings. The Pro unlock is $49 USD, one time, per store, and is charged through Shopify’s billing system. It is not a subscription: nothing renews, and there is nothing to cancel. The unlock is permanent for the store it was bought for and does not transfer between stores.

Because the Pro unlock provides immediate and full access to the service, all sales are final. Refund requests are handled at our discretion and in line with Shopify App Store policies. If something went wrong, email support.veristack@protonmail.com and we will look at it.

Billing is administered by Shopify and appears on your Shopify invoice. We never receive or store your card details.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

6. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if the service is being abused as described above, or where required by law or by Shopify.

You can stop using the service at any time by uninstalling the app. Uninstalling ends data collection and triggers deletion as described in the Privacy Policy. A one-time Pro purchase is not refunded on uninstall.

7. Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated. When they are, the date at the top changes. Continuing to use the service after an update means you accept the revised terms. If you do not accept them, uninstall the app.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
